Arduino Primo Core

The Primo Core is a tiny, coin sized Arduino, designed for IoT and wearable applications. Not only is it physically small, it uses a tiny amount of power too so perfect for battery operation. It uses a Nordic nrf52832 chip with Bluetooth smart (BLE 4.0) and NFC-A tag functions, together with integrated motion and environmental sensors.

Primo Core Main Features

10 digital input/output pins
10 PWM (all digital pins)
Accelerometer and gyroscope sensor
Temperature and humidity sensor
RGB LED
Programming SWD connector
Coin cell battery connector (CR2032 battery included – RS 866-0672)
BLE interface
NFC connector (external NFC tag included)
Microcontroller reset buttons
On/Off switch for powering the board
Input Voltage: 5 V
PCB Size: 32 x 32 mm

Arduino Microcontroller

Microcontroller: Nordic nRF52832
Architecture: ARM Cortex-M4F
Operating Voltage: 3.3 V
Flash memory: 512 KB
SRAM: 64 KB
Clock Speed: 64 MHz
Analogue I/O Pins: 8
Bluetooth Smart (BLE 4.0): TX power up to +4 dBm -96 dBm sensitivity in BLE mode
