Wireless Bluetooth Ethernet Adapter
The FL BT EPA can be used to reliably and quickly transmit ethernet data in automation networks. With the new 'Lean-Stacks', the FL BT EPA speed is more than double as compared to the previous solutions. The data transmission is protocol-transparent, thus enabling easy integration into industrial,ethernet networks such as Profinet, Modbus/TCP or ethernet/IP. The FL BT EPA fulfills the Profinet requirements of Conformance Class A. The FL BT EPA has been realized as an intelligent antenna' in order to enable wireless reliable installation quickly and easily. The FL BT EPA complies with the standards of the Bluetooth PAN profile (Personal Area Network).
FL BT EPA properties:
Integrated special antenna with circular polarization for high reliability
Protocol-transparent data transmission
Short delay (latency) along the wireless path, typically less than 8 ms (for an 80 byte Profinet frame)
Fast establishment of connection
Auto-configuration mode for point-to-point cable replacement within only a few seconds
Profinet Conformance Class A
Configuration, diagnostics and connection control via SNMP and AT commands
