A complete soldering system that provides an environmentally protected shield termination on cables. The soldering system consists a heat shrinkable sleeve containing fluxed solder and a thermoplastic sealing insert at each end. The solder sleeve is placed over the joint to be made and heated, shrinking the sleeve and melting the sealing inserts and solder. Producing a secure and reliable connection.
