BQ500212A, WPC 1.1 Wireless Power Transmitter Manager Evaluation Module

The Texas Instruments Evaluation Module demonstrates the transmitter portion of the bqTESLA™ wireless power system. It is Qi-Certified, Wireless Power Consortium (WPC) 1.1 compliant power transmitter with Foreign Object Detection (FOD) for improved protection from stray metal objects in the charging area.
The Printed-Circuit Board (PCB) module includes the transmitting coil. The open electronics design allows easy access to key points of the electrical schematic. There are LED indications of charging state and fault status. The bq500212A has low stand-by power and high efficiency.
