RS PRO Stainless Steel Cable Ties
These RS PRO stainless steel cable ties are an ideal alternative where Nylon 66 cable ties are not suitable such as harsh environments or places where there is heat. These cable ties have a roller ball design which is self-locking and fast and easy to install. Roller ball ties have a locking ball bearing which grips the tie strap and locks the tie as it is tensioned.
Manufactured from 316 stainless steel, these ties have excellent resistance to abrasion, corrosion, radiation, weathering and extremes of temperature. They have a greater load carrying capacity and may be used for general strapping applications.
Features and Benefits:
Available in uncoated and polyester coated stainless steel
Flame retardant
High tensile strength
Self-locking design
Suitable for both indoors and outdoors - excellent resistance to high temperature, chemicals, weather and abrasion
Can be tightened by hand or tool

FAQs
Why use stainless steel cable ties?
Cable ties manufactured from stainless steel are great for low and high voltage cable management. They are ideal for applications in extreme conditions where strength, vibration, radiation, weathering, corrosion and temperature extremes are a factor. They are also fireproof due to the high melting point of 316 stainless steel.
What are the different types of cable tie?
There are many different types of cable tie, including heavy-duty metal ties, plastic ties, and Velcro cable ties in the form of a Velcro strap. Below are some of the main types:
Standard
Releasable
Mounted head
Push mount
Self-adhesive
Double-headed
