TBU-LAB1 - SLIC Protection Design Kit
Bourns® TBU® SLIC protection TBU-LAB1 Design kit containing high-speed devices that provide protection against transients caused by short circuits, AC power cross, induction and lightning surges.
The Transient Blocking Unit (TBU) blocks surges providing a barrier to sensitive electronics and eliminating exposure to large voltages or currents during surge events. Consequently the let-through energy to sensitive load electronics is low and prevents damage within rated limits. The TBU device resets to its normal state after the surge subsides.
Extremely high-speed performance (GHz data rate compatible)
Blocks high voltages and transient currents
Very high bandwidth
Small size requires Minimal PCB area
Exceeds ITU-T K.20, K.21, K.45 & Telcordia GR-1089 requirements
