SAFE STEP® 200 Anti-Slip Floor Coating Paint

Safe Step 200 is a floor coating paint that when used to paint onto a floor surface provides you with an effective anti-slip surface. The floor coating is designed to withstand heavy foot and vehicle traffic, is durable, easy to apply and economical. The floor protection gives you high performance, safety, anti-slip surface with excellent adhesion plus is slip resistant to metal, concrete and timber surfaces.

How Do I Prepare The Floor Paint?

Use a mechanical mixer to mix up the base component.
You can use a pneumatic drill motor with a jiffy mixing blade.
Make sure all the settlement is lifted from the bottom of the can.
Pour the hardener into the base and mix again.
Mix for approximately 5 minutes until it forms one complete colour.
All ready to apply straight away.
Best to apply the floor coating at surface temperatures of 10°C to 30°C.
Always remember, is important you prepare surfaces properly to ensure maximum adhesion.

What Do I Use To Apply The Floor Paint?

A Hard roller – approx. coverage 5 m²
Trowel - approx. coverage 6.2 m²
Spray equipment – approx. coverage 6.8 m²

Grease

Salt water

Cleaning?

Must clean the floor covering on a regular basis.
This maximizes the anti-slip performance.
Use Water based biodegradable detergent cleaners.
We recommend using a long handled brush or floor cleaning machine.
Rinse the floor coating with clean water
Leave the floor to dry
