Typical Applications
Designed for electrical automation and control environments, emergency stop button switches are commonly found in button stations where users may be sitting at a control desk, within suspended operator panels or in a control panel. Suitable for a wide range of emergency stop and safety applications including factory conveyor belts, escalators and control panels.
Features and Benefits
Ergonomic mushroom head button design provides ease of use
22.5 mm cutout diameter
Mechanical lifespan of over 100,000 operations
Operating temperature of -25 to +70°C
Low profile plastic design gives an attractive modern look and feel
The high degrees of protection in the front (up to IP69K) and at the back (IP65) of these devices make the perfect choice for applications in which oil-tight protection from dirt or liquids is required.
The push button is supplied as a complete unit, enabling easy installation for worldwide applications
Twist to reset, pull to reset and key reset models available
M22 range features adaptable functionalities
What is the difference between a push button for emergency stop and a general-purpose push button?
A general-purpose push button switch is used for controls, e.g., starting machine operation or simply switching modes. However, a push button switch for emergency stop is mainly used as a safety measure to stop hazardous events.
