C44U power capacitors from KEMET are constructed from a non-inductive segmented metallised polypropylene film within a cylindrical aluminium can. The can is filled with resin and features screw terminals and a plastic deck. This series is available with a DC rating of 600 V dc through to 1300 V dc and capacitance from 250 μF to 600 μF.
