Product details

Electromagnetic safety locks

Designed to control the opening of mobile machine guards using an electrical signal or to act as trigger stops for a variety of applications.
Power-on locking: bolt extends when power is on, retracts as a cut-off via a built-in spring return.
Power-off locking: bolt retracts when power is on, extends as a cut-off via a built-in spring return.
The 8.458 and 8.25 series locks are fitted with a positive control safety opening switch that detects the position of the bolt. When installed in compliance with standard EN 1088, they contribute to the safe running of machines that continue to pose a danger after the operator has stopped working (EN 292).
Examples: safety position locks for mobile casings or access gates to restricted areas (high-inertia moving machines, robotic development areas, tooling centres, handling gantries, sources of radiation etc.).

Standards

EN 292, EN 60947-5-1 except for 810B528 and 810BM28
