EtherCon® RJ 45 Connectivity
From Neutrik, these EtherCon RJ45 connectors have a plug housed in a diecast shell that interlocks with corresponding receptacles in much the same way as typical XLR connector would. It ensures that EtherCon RJ45 plugs and sockets can form a robust and secure mating not always afforded by typical RJ45 connections. All models are highly reliable and excellent quality.
Features & Benefits
All comply with Category 5 (Cat 5e for IDC versions), and are compatible for use with 10 Base-T and 100 BaseTX systems
The 'FDV' version uses similar front flange as the Neutrik unified XLR connector
Maximum cable O.D. is 6 mm for cable shell connector
Cable mount shell is ideal for retrospectively ruggedising existing non-booted RJ45 leads
Frequency Bandwidth: 1 MHz to 100 MHz
Rated Current: 1.5A
Dielectric Strength: 1kVac
Contact Resistance: <10 mΩ
Insulation Resistance: >500 mΩ
