RS PRO Crimp Butt Splice Terminals

RS PRO selection of butt connectors designed for crimping electrical wire and suit cables from 0·5mm² to 1·5mm² and 1·0mm² to 2·5mm². These terminals act as a solderless cable joint allowing electrical current to flow safely from one wire to another and are ideal for repairing, changing and lengthening electrical circuits making them a great addition to any electrician's tool kit.

Splice Connectors are used to make quick splices or connections with two or more pieces of wire. These splices are normally crimped or soldered so that the power conducted from the source cable to the next cable is transferred at inacceptable conductivity and pull-out resistance performance level. Crimp butt splice terminals are attached by inserting the stripped ends of two stranded wires into both ends of the terminal. A crimping tool is then used to crimp both ends to ensure a tight connection between the wires.

Options include:
433-078 - Butt Splice Connector, 0.5 to 1.5 mm²
208-2688 - Sheet formed butt pin terminal, Butt Splice Connector, 1 to 2.5 mm²

For basic plier action tool, see stock no. 534-806
