RS PRO Releasable Coated Stainless Steel Cable Ties
These RS PRO stainless steel grade 316 coated releasable cable ties have been designed for use in Industrial and Marine environments. These ties are an ideal alternative where Nylon 66 cable ties are not suitable such as harsh environments or places where there is heat. The stainless steel used has a high resistance to damage by chemicals and salts making them suitable for harsh environments. The black polyester coating improves the handling properties of the stainless steel reducing the possibility of chaffing and blends with the colour of most cables sheaths. No special tools are required to fit these ties. Simply thread the end of the tie through the two raised ears then through the loop, keeping the tension on the tie, fold the end back on itself across the top of the loop and press it down between the two raised ears to retain it.
Manufactured from stainless steel, these ties have excellent resistance to abrasion, corrosion, radiation, weathering and extremes of temperature. They have a greater load carrying capacity and may be used for general strapping applications. With the RS PRO wide range, there are a variety of sizes and lengths to suit all your requirements.
Features and Benefits:

FAQs
Why use stainless steel cable ties?
Stainless steel cable ties are an ideal alternative where Nylon 66 cable ties are not suitable such as harsh environments or places where there is heat. Cable ties manufactured from stainless steel are great for low and high voltage cable management. They are ideal for applications in extreme conditions where strength, vibration, radiation, weathering, corrosion and temperature extremes are a factor. They are also fireproof due to the high melting point of stainless steel.
What are the different types of cable tie?
There are many different types of cable tie, including heavy-duty metal ties, plastic ties, and Velcro cable ties in the form of a Velcro strap. Below are some of the main types:
Standard
Releasable
Mounted head
Push mount
Self-adhesive
Double-headed
Stainless steel
Reusable
Approvals
ABS, DNV, Lloyd's Register, UL
