Mechanical Grade Paste
A clear acetoxy, silicone rubber compound equivalent to 732 RTV which will bond to most clean surfaces. It may be used as a sealant, gasket material or insulator for electrical repairs. Specific applications include sealing wire entries and connectors, adhesive for thermistor mounting, and seals for electrical housings and enclosures. During cure the material liberates acetic acid. Where a mould release agent is required, use PTFE dry film lubricant.
