Product details

Schneider Electric Zelio RE17 Timing Relay Series

A series of timing relays designed to time events by closing or opening contacts before, during or after a set time period. Ideal for industrial automation systems they can be mounted on DIN rails or directly. Enabling the setup of simple automation cycles using wired logic, these timers can also be used to compliment the functions of PLCs. Making it possible to have several output circuits this ranges relay outputs also provide complete isolation between the supply circuit and the output. Featuring a diagnostic button which assists with commissioning and troubleshooting these relays are also energy efficient and reliable with a wide choice of outputs (either screw or spring connection terminals).

Features and Benefits:

• LED state indicator
• Simple, fast and easy to set up
• Flexible, Compact and high performing
• Relay or Solid-state output
• Module DIN rail mount, miniature plug-in and panel mount
• Single or Multiple function
• Power supply voltage range from 24 to 240 V
• Selector switch on front panel

Protection ratings & Safety features:

• Compliant with international standards and certifications IEC 61812-1, EN 61812-1 UL, CSA, GL, RCM, EAC, CCC, China ROHS
• IP50 (front panel) conforming to IEC 60529
• IP40 (housing) conforming to IEC 60529
• IP20 (terminal block) conforming to IEC 60529
• Shock resistance - 15 gn (duration = 11 ms) conforming to IEC 60068-2-27
• Vibration resistance - 20 m/s² (f = 10...150 Hz) conforming to IEC 60068-2-6

Applications - Time Delay Relays are typically used in industrial applications and play an important role for many industrial processes such as small panel or sub-panels requirements. Other applications include:

• Lighting circuits
• Motor start control
• Sensitive equipment
• Safety control
• Conveyor belt sequence delay
• Machines, single machine and automation
• Buildings, door locks and roller shutters
• Water segment such as pumping and irrigation
• HVAC, fans and water systems
