Product details
Sick W9-3 I/O-Link Photoelectric Sensors
SICK W9-3 I/O-Link photoelectric sensors enclosed in a slim housing that reliably detects transparent objects. Small gaps between objects, highly transparent thin films, and vials with flow marks and severe lens defects can be reliably detected.
Setting the sensor requires a single press of the teach-in pushbutton. The sensor reliably adjusts for any changes to environmental conditions such as temperature, dust or dirt. The single-lens system sees through even the smallest of openings.
I/O-Link is the new communication standard for the integration of the sensors and actuators into automation systems. W9-3 I/O-Link can be parametrised and monitored via field bus. Preventative maintenance and service measures can be implemented, and changeover times for product or format changes can be significantly reduced.
Features and Benefits
Continuous threshold adaption (AutoAdapt)
Single-lens autocollimation optics
Simple setting either via teach-in pushbutton, cable or IO-Link
PinPoint LED technology
Flexible sensor settings, monitoring, advanced diagnostics, and visualization thanks to IO-Link
Sick I/O-Link Photoelectric Sensors
With its line of Smart Sensor Solutions powered by I/O-Link, SICK offers a range of products providing solutions that optimize the automation technology used in machines and systems.
I/O-Link is the first standardised I/O technology worldwide (IEC 61131-9) for the communication with sensors and actuators. I/O-Link provides a point-to-point connection located in any given network.
