TE Connectivity HDSCS MCP 2.8 Receptacle Contacts with Single Wire Sealing System (SWS)

MCP 2.8 receptacle timer contacts with a single wire sealing system (SWS). These MCP 2.8 receptacle timer contacts are made from copper nickel silicon (CuNiSi) with a stainless steel top spring and have a mating interface area of 2.79 x 0.81mm. As well as being used in the MCP 2.8 automotive connector system these receptacle contacts can also be used within the Standard Timer connector system. Stock numbers 718-0819, 718-1143, 720-2433, 726-8981 and 726-8988 can also be used within the heavy duty sealed connector series (HDSCS) connector system. For suitable wire seals see stock number 395-7599 typically.

HDSCS connectors for use in commercial and off-road vehicles applications. These HDSCS automotive connectors have rugged thermoplastic housings and are designed to withstand tough and harsh environments and high levels of vibration. The sealing provides IP67 protection against dust and water. This robust construction ensures high performance, reliability and long-term use. These HDSCS automotive connectors can be used for wire to wire or wire to device applications. The HDSCS connector housings are available in 5 different sizes from 2 to 18 ways and accept AMP MCP 1.5K, AMP MCP 2.8 or AMP MCP 6.3/4.8K receptacle or tab contacts.
