It can be installed on a submersible pump and used at depths of up to 100m, making it a good choice for demanding applications. The unit is encased in blow-moulded HDPE (high-density polyethylene) and hermetically sealed with non-hygroscopic closed-cell polyurethane (PU) for durability and robust resistance to moisture. The normally closed (NC) microswitch has an electrical life of 200,000 operations for long-lasting performance. Devices of this kind are commonly found in waterworks, sewage works and high water alarms.
