Dormer ’Shark Line’ Blue Spiral Point Taps for stainless steel. These taps are constructed from premium grade High Speed Cobalt (HSS-E) for increased hardness and improved edge strength with a tap bit tolerance class of 6H.

• An acronym for High-speed steel, HSS is generally the go-to type of steel needed for tap and drill bits due to their excellent heat resistance at high speeds.
