Product Details
Securely install and remove your metal contacts and terminals from their connector housings with this insertion and extraction combination tool from Molex. The device is designed for all KK 2.54mm centre series contacts and helps you correctly push them into their connectors without damaging them. Its ringed design makes it a versatile tool for both right-handed and left-handed users. As the tool is made from metal, it's durable and resistant to corrosion, so you can be assured of long-term performance.
To use this insertion tool, place your ring finger in its circular opening. Then, with its flat side facing up, place the wire in the groove of the pin so that the terminal is touching its end. With your thumb firmly holding the wire in the groove, push the terminal as far into the connector as the tool will permit. Alternatively, you can insert the terminal into its housing first, then push it in using the tool.
The Molex insertion & extraction combination tool pin is used for insertion of all KK® 2.54mm (.100) center series contacts into all KK® 2.54mm (.100) housings.
This tool is designed to assure proper seating of terminals and reduce operator fatigue.
With its simple to use operational instructions, this insertion and extraction tool pin proves to be an essential solution to your electrical needs.
The Molex Insertion & Extraction Combination Tool supports individual terminals to be inserted into its housing. It also has the option of being able to have the terminal be partially inserted in the terminal housing first, and then the Insertion tool can be used to firmly seat the terminal.
Please refer to the Insertion Tool Instruction Sheet for further instruction on how to use the Molex insertion & extraction combination tool.
