From our tried-and-tested RS PRO range comes this high-quality door and window switch. A reed proximity switch, it's intended for use as a security device to detect the opening of doors and windows.
Manufactured with a tough construction, this a hard-wearing product thats well-suited for use in heavy-duty workspaces. With an IP67 rating, its fully protected against solid particles like dust and sand and has been tested to work for at least half an hour in up to 1 metre of water. In addition, this switch can function at temperatures from -20 to +85°C. A tamper loop is built-in so any interference will trigger an alert to stop intruders in their tracks.
