RS PRO ESD Grounding Cord Yellow 1.8m

RS PRO Coiled Cords

In every ESD (electrostatic discharge) environment grounding is essential for blocking ESD. This coiled cord from our own RS PRO brand will safely direct static electricity to the ground. This will protect workers and equipment in an environment where sensitive electronic equipment is used, manufactured, assembled or repaired.

Features and Benefits

• High visibility - bright colours allow the supervisor to see that worker is wearing a wrist strap
• Eliminates intermittent failures that occur with less durable single and dual wire cords
• Rapid retraction strength polyurethane coil cord which provides high memory and less coil cord dragging on the work surface
• Relaxed retraction - will not interfere with your movements
• Improved snap design - stronger strain relief and snap retention for long life; low profile keeps the cord from being disconnected
• High-quality long-life yellow coil cord
• Integral 1MΩ, 2MΩ or 4MΩ resistor
• Soft polyurethane strain relief

Always remember!

• Test the ground before you use it
• Keep a room clean
• Test the wrist strap - best to test the strap is while it is worn
• Each individual workstation must be individually grounded to the ground bus or to the nearest equipment ground
